Penguin Segue

While I prepare the opening chapters of my next novel, I didn't want to leave you bored or without yet more pictures from my trip to South America......

These photos were taken at the Punto Tombo Penguin Rockery about two hours outside Puerto Madryn, Argentina. It stretches for miles along the coast, hosting hundreds of thousands of Madgellin penguins that come to the same nests each year to give birth to their young.

The parents fiercely guard their nests while their mates go down to the sea to hunt for food.

The shoreline takes on the appearance of a day at the beach with as much socializing going on as gathering of food.....

Alright now time for me to get back to work.......stay tuned for a murder mystery set in Tahoe and Kiev.
